Hi!

Last year our company, Longline Environment launched Winshell, a free shellfish simulation tool for oysters, mussels and clams. The Winshell model uses state-of-the-art equations in order to determine shellfish growth.

By the end of the year we hope to add to the number of species on offer to model including, oysters, mussels, clams and scallops.

Winshell is designed for shellfish farmers and water managers, in order to determine how an animal will grow in a certain area, on the basis of food availability and environmental conditions in coastal and estuarine waters.

We believe that this simulation tool could be of interest. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this tool.

To start simulating visit http://www.longline.co.uk/winshell

We have other modelling tools available at http://www.longline.co.uk

Kind regards,

Rui Gomes Ferreira
