The second draft aquaculture certification guidelines released here are developed on the basis of discussions held and recommendations made during the Bangkok Expert Workshop in March 2007, Brazil Expert Workshop in July 2007, and a meeting during the 8th Asian Fisheries Forum in November 2007.

Further consultations are planned for widespread consultation and input to the guidelines, and will be announced in due course on this web site. FAO and NACA welcome comments on this draft guideline document, and more generally sharing of experiences, reports and debate on aquaculture certification.
